Nelson is also founder of the Athens Blockchain Co-op, or ABC, Athens first and only ongoing cooperative for anyone seeking information and strategies in Bitcoin, blockchain, or cryptocurrencies.
In 2011 Nelson cofounded Athens’ first technology startup incubator, FourAthens, which is now part of AthensMade, and 501-C3 not for profit which helps local companies large or small. He is also a founding investor in the Athens Angel Fund, funding and launching young technology companies throughout the Southeast.
