On behalf of the membership of the Athens Branch of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), we wish to extend an invitation for you to join us at the ASALH Athens Annual Black History Month Celebration. We are excited to be hosting a discussion with Professor Valerie Babb about her new book titled "The Book of James."

Athens ASALH invites you to join this event "Black Publishing In Georgia" which we are proudly co-sponsoring. It is being held on Tuesday, February 18th at 6:00 PM in the Special Collections Building at the University of Georgia.
