Growth and decay, migratory waterways, microscopic bacterial stuff happening on an ecosystem scale. I think I was eager to play in a space that exists somewhere between the two and I knew I had to make the painting at a size that would physically put me in-between passages as well. ngl - a very enjoyable challenge.
