This man is unreal, not of this planet, black as hell, the opposite of young and mainstream, and he’s probably the dopest DJ on the planet.
I can’t describe it but this dude just takes you there. He still plays vinyl, creates songs live on the 909, and decided to dj backwards in a space suit at last year while he descended into the abysss. And he is as technical and raw with his mixes as I’ve ever seen.
He’s one of the most forward thinking artists on the planet and I get to see him celebrate 30 years of his landmark mix “Live from the Liquid Room” with legendary dj on support tonight!
To give you an idea who he is. You know that song teachers by Daft Punk off homework? Well they are shouting out THEIR influences and yeah Jeff mills is there.
