Benya and I will be releasing our EP, “Born and Buried,” on Oct. 27 with a (free) release show at 5 p.m. at Athens First Presbyterian Church (corner of Court & Washington). “Born and Buried” features three songs that tell of Stewart family lore.

In addition to the three songs on the EP, the show will include Ukrainian folk songs (sung by Benya), as well as some words about current events in Ukraine.

Thanks to Bernie Nau for helping us with recording, mixing, mastering, etc. and to John Grimwade for his tasteful design work. The EP also features Terry Douds laying down his usual sweet bass groove.

This album was originally released 20 years ago. I am re-leasing it to celebrate the anniversary and get it onto the streaming platforms. Here’s the youtube link:
