Athens-Limestone Community Association

Robert Penn walked miles each day to attend Trinity School — all while helping with responsibilities at home. Through discipline and perseverance, he continued his education and went on to earn a law degree from Western Reserve University, later practicing law in Toledo, Ohio.

His journey reflects the foundation that began at Trinity School — long before it became Trinity High School — and the generations of students who pursued education against the odds.

His story is a powerful reminder that the path may not always be easy…
but where it leads can change generations.

Every step taken in faith and determination
leads to a legacy that inspires generations.
