I spent so much of my childhood in this yard.

This garden watched me walk down the driveway a hundred times as I was dropped off to visit with my best friend.
This garden watched us become teenagers and get cars. It may have watched us sneak out of the house a few times.
Then it watched us get jobs, it watched us grow and create our own lives and our own little gardens.
But these flowers will always feel like going home ❤️

Day two of our Chambers Bay sessions was nothing short of a PNW miracle.
The rain had been relentless all day with no signs of slowing down. As we hesitantly drove into the parking lot, wondering if we needed reschedule...we finally saw beautiful rays of sunshine. Those golden glows stayed with us for the entire session. 🫶
