Woodcraft RX

I'd like to take a minute to shine some light on a probably not so known small Atkinson business that I’ve had nothing but incredible experiences with. Steve Whiteacre with Woodcraft RX is just awesome to work with- they certainly don’t make ’em like Steve, anymore! When I first saw one of Steve’s wood flags for sale at Stewart’s tree farm a few months back I immediately wanted one, but larger. So I inquired as to where these beautiful flags came from and was surprised to hear that the man who makes them lives right in my neighborhood on Old Coach Road! I contacted Steve and he made me a beautiful (roughly 5’x3’) framed American flag to display in our home. Since then he’s made me two more beautiful flags to give as gifts for friends (one of which can be seen inside the Atkinson Village Store) as well as a beautiful live edge charcuterie board and a heat resistant hot pad for pans for my wife. I asked him to do something recently that was probably very different from what he typically does and again, he exceeded my expectations and my jaw hit the floor when I saw the great the project came out! Steve is just a great guy, and I now consider him a friend. I hope many of you reach out to Steve for a flag or a custom project. You won’t be disappointed in his work and you’ll probably make a new friend!
