DJ Beignet

It’s been a little over a month since my debut at but I’m back playing this Friday (2/3)! I’ll be opening up the night starting at 9:30 pm so make sure to come out early! For those that don’t know or have not gotten the chance to see either or .music you definitely won’t want to miss it! I’ve had the opportunity to play for some of the events they’ve thrown together, and they’re amazing people on top of being amazing artists and DJs! Just reminiscing on some things and some points in my most recent mix/set. For those that missed it and those that don’t know, I uploaded the set from last Thursday night (for those in the US/Americas) on m my SoundCloud. I always try to upload one set a month, sometimes more, but this last set was a lot of fun and kinda a homage/tribute to a lot of the stuff I grew up on as well as the stuff that I really enjoy and connect with now (and as I get better at riding the pitch faders and mixing non-quantized music, I hope to be able to implement more stuff that can really increase my dynamics as an artist as well as connect with people with because I didn’t just grow up on dance, pop, house, disco, and electronic/electronica music 🤣). This most recent set was a lot of fun, and although it might not be perfect in terms of transistors and whatnot, I keep coming back to it and still can’t believe that it’s actually a mix I did because of how much I enjoy it.

I’m short, go check out the new mix and my favorite part of the mix is when I took the strings and looped them and transitioned into an artist who puts on an immaculate show and makes amazing music, around the 36 min mark!

Been meaning to do this for ages, but I’m currently doing almost everything myself - promoting my shows, networking (with the help of some amazing homies), these flyers and videos I make (also shoutout to all the photographer and videographers that I know), and more😎. I also may not know exactly what it is I’m doing with some of these things but it’s gotta get done 🤣. Instead of me posting every Tuesday and Thursday and spending the time scratching my head to come up with post ideas for my radio sets, and then posting them, I shall be primarily posting that kind of stuff on my story, or making changes to my schedule and posting/reposting it if anything changes!

So as things currently stand, I stream for both and on Tuesday and Thursday nights respectively! There’s a lot of great artists and DJs on both stations, so if you’re into electronic music, but can’t always catch my sets, I highly recommend you check out both radios! Between all of us that play on them, there’s a lot of different styles and genres played out throughout the entirety of the day!
