There is so much more to do than just putting up a listing. If you want your listings to convert to sales, then you need to be doing these things.
Potential customers can often be skeptical about buying a product, especially from someone or some brand they have never heard of. They want to make sure you and the product are legit. That is why providing as much information as possible in the descriptions really help put their minds at ease.
No one wants to buy something in a crappy picture. Pictures should be bright and clear! Your customer would also love to see it being used. It helps them picture them using it themselves.
Make sure it is easy peasy for a customer to add the item to the cart. Make the sizing and color options clear as possible to understand. You could be so close to having a sale but then the listing options are confusing, and the customer decides to leave your shop.
Another way to drive home a sale is having a completely filled out shop, meaning your policies (shipping, refunds/exchanges) are clearly stated out. You have an about me section to let your potential customers know a little bit about you. This builds relationships which lead to trust, especially if they can relate to you as a person. Any reviews listed? Customers want to know what other customers experiences with you and your shop were like. Bad reviews discourage potential customers from shopping with you.
