Finding a job can be a challenge for youth and young adults. They must determine what careers are available, what their interests are, and what skills they have or need to develop. Numerous resources, such as , are available to help youth get a
sense of their interest and skills as well as gain job skills and learn about employment opportunities.

For many low-income youth and young adults in Atlanta, going to college is not only an aspiration, but a game changer for them and their families. That is because education, both traditional and untraditional, is not only a potential route to economic mobility, but also key to breaking the chains of generational poverty. Therefore, we at Atlanta GLOW are committed to promoting a college going culture by providing mentoring, life skills training and leadership development opportunities to help keep metro Atlanta students resourced and encouraged throughout their journey from high school to college, and college to career.
