Last week, the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted its annual meeting, celebrating 100 years of aviation in Atlanta. Spelman’s own Kamora Freeland, C’2028—the youngest Black female pilot in the U.S.—attended as a special guest and delivered remarks as the “future of flight.” Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and Delta CEO Ed Bastian also joined the celebration for a fireside chat honoring the centennial milestones of both the Atlanta airport and Delta Air Lines. 📷: @picturethis.atlanta
