Thank you to the staff of Stephanie V. Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children and Hughes Spalding at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, who attended the Pinwheel Ceremony to honor victims of child abuse as Child Abuse Prevention month comes to an end. “Everyday,” you help to bring hope and healing when it’s needed the most.

This week my wife and I were invited by Project Harmony Children’s Advocacy Center to travel to Omaha, NE. We toured the CAC and the next day I had the honor of providing the keynote for the ‘Speaking of Children’ Luncheon. Let me tell you, most of us have been sleeping on Omaha! I’ve toured many a CAC, but when I tell you that Project Harmony is by far the most comprehensive center that I’ve seen to date! The combination of services offered, teamwork, passion, leadership, and community support needs to be acknowledged and then replicated everywhere! Thank you for showing us that “it can be done,” and what’s possible when we truly want to make a better tomorrow for today’s children.

No truer words spoken than “it takes a village.” And the village showed up at An Evening For Dove House “Garden and Glam” gala. What an amazing night supporting a mission near and dear to my 💙 protecting and preventing abused children. It was truly my honor to be your guest speaker.

When you are “Summoned,” you are answering a call greater than yourself. Thank you to the countless men and women who continue to answer the call when a child has been abused. Thank you to the Child Advocacy Center of Fayetteville for inviting me to not only kickoff their annual Child Abuse Prevention Summit discussing why teamwork is vitally important, but also inspiring the attendees at the conclusion of the summit to remember their “Why.”

Thank you St. Luke’s CARES and the attendees of the 3rd annual Treasure Valley Child Abuse Prevention Conference for doing everything possible to make a better tomorrow for today’s children. It was truly a pleasure to meet so many of you. Thank you for all that you do 💙💙💙
