Stepping into the cold plunge this weekend wasn’t just a physical challenge—it was a decision challenge.

Truth is—I walked by that water 3–4 times. Heard it call me by my name. Felt the conviction to step in… and kept walking.

That was the real challenge. Not the cold—the power of a decision.

After getting through the Ruckapalooza “Heat Rising” challenge, my body was already taxed. But this wasn’t about physical capacity. It was about whether I was willing to override hesitation, make the decision, and lead myself into something I’d never done before.

The plunge became a test of mindset: Stay present. Control the breath. Choose to remain when everything in you says LEAVE.

That’s growth. Not when it’s convenient—but when it’s uncomfortable and uncertain.

Grateful for my brother —your steady voice, connection/trust, and “push” cut through the noise and helped me step in. That kind of leadership matters and is lucky to have you and this crew representing them this weekend.

And respect to for creating environments where people are challenged to grow—physically, mentally, and even spiritually. Witnessing this and being a small part of this weekend was a part of community I’ve been missing.
