Cultivating Creative
Helping brands grow through a strategic & purposeful approach to design and marketing.
I was halfway through throwing this piece when I knew it wasn't working.
There is something really freeing about that. Not every idea deserves to be finished.
Sometimes the most strategic thing you can do is recognize when something is off-center and begin again with what you have learned.
Marketing works the same way. Starting over is not failure. It is refinement!
Working with clay always brings me back to how I think about design and marketing.
As I dipped this piece into glaze, I noticed how it shifted. Some parts held and others revealed what was underneath. It reminded me that there is so much intention in the parts you do not immediately see.
In marketing, there is so much strategy and intention that goes into the work long before it ever shows up in the world. The foundation is always deeper than what is visible.
I hand-drew leaves in wax before glazing this piece, knowing they would not fully show up right away.
But that is what makes the final result meaningful.✨

Branding + flyers + supporting graphics for Good Company OC.
Designed to feel cohesive, clear, and aligned across every touchpoint.
Because strong brands are built in the details.
You can’t rush the wheel.
Designing on a screen teaches precision, but clay teaches patience. Every piece starts a little off-center, and it takes time (and a steady hand) to shape it into something intentional.
Marketing works the same way. The best ideas aren’t rushed. They’re cultivated!

Not every post needs to be a brand-new idea. Just like in gardening, the best growth often comes from what’s already there.
Repurpose your strongest content into reels, carousels, blogs, or newsletters to keep feeding your audience without overplanting. ♻️
Good ideas deserve more than one season.

Pottery constantly reminds me that good work takes time.
When you throw clay on the wheel, you don’t rush straight to the final piece. You start by finding the center, shaping slowly, refining as you go, and trusting the process…even when it’s messy.
Marketing and design work the same way. The strongest brands aren’t rushed into existence. They’re built through clarity, iteration, and thoughtful adjustments over time.
Clay, like a brand, becomes stronger through the process.
Sometimes the best reminder to slow down and trust the work… is sitting at a pottery wheel. 🏺🌿
