Life has been a little chaotic lately. This season I’m in has multiple test and trials waiting around every corner. No amount of planning could have prepared me for what the past few months handed me. I’m sitting here now, in a hospital bed writing this note. There are days I feel completely defeated. I try so hard to keep it all together but the shoe continues to drop.

This is life. Life is a constant change that no amount of preparation can prepare you for. A good life is not guaranteed. A safe and prosperous life is not handed to you on a silver plater. There are dark places in this world that our parents and loved ones tried to protect us from but seem to have crept up in the night. This is life.

What you do next, can change the trajectory of what’s to come. We were all born with a light in us. Some let this light dwindle to almost an ember while others continuously add to its flame creating a blaze. It is important to know what fuels your fire.

If you know me, I love my Papa, you may know him by many other names like, Almighty, I Am, or God. Loving Him has kept my light burning through the countless hard times over the years. I am always seeking out my purpose, listening and pivoting to walk the journey He has for me. I believe my medical hardships are a key to my purpose.
