BUILDING HEALTHIER FAMILIES THROUGH EDUCATION, NUTRITION & SELF-SUFFICIENCY
📸 Please enjoy the photos from today's Write-Right Nutrition Program community food distribution hosted at Growth Mindset Wellness PC in Stockbridge, Georgia.
At DFOWW Incorporated (Daphany's Fabulous Objective Weekly Workshops), we believe that providing nutritious food is important—but empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and skills to become more self-sufficient creates lasting change.
Traditional food banks and food pantries play a vital role in addressing immediate hunger within our communities.
DFOWW Incorporated complements these important organizations by combining nutrition literacy education with supplemental food assistance to help individuals and families develop the knowledge and skills needed to achieve greater self-sufficiency and long-term wellness.
Our Write-Right Nutrition Program consists of six in-person educational workshops that help participants develop lifelong healthy living skills. Workshop topics include:
• Meal planning on a budget
• Understanding Nutrition Facts and food labels
• Water, hydration, and the importance of rest
• Vitamins, minerals, and healthy eating
• Exercise and healthy lifestyle habits
• Kids & Parents Gardening Workshops that teach families how to grow fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs at home
In addition, our Write-Right Entrepreneurship Program helps low-income individuals, families, youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, churches, and community leaders establish and successfully operate nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
This comprehensive program consists of two 5-hour workshops:
Part I: Legal establishment, organizational structure, governance, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Part II: Building long-term organizational sustainability through fundraising, donor cultivation, grant writing, charitable contributions, and other financial resources that support long-term organizational growth.
Earlier today, DFOWW Incorporated partnered with Growth Mindset Wellness PC in Stockbridge, Georgia, to host another successful community food distribution through our Write-Right Nutrition Program.
Together, we distributed a variety of nutritious meals, high-quality proteins, fresh produce, bakery items, personal care items, vitamins, household essentials, and other donated resources to individuals and families throughout our community.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Nurse Practitioner Tiffany Bates and the entire Growth Mindset Wellness PC team for their continued partnership, generosity, and commitment to serving our community. By opening their facility and working alongside our nonprofit organization, they are helping expand access to nutrition literacy education, healthy food, and community wellness while strengthening the connection between healthcare and community wellness.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Costco, our generous food donors, dedicated volunteers, and valued community partners whose continued support makes this work possible. Through their generosity, we are able to recover wholesome food and other essential resources that might otherwise go to waste and redirect them to individuals and families in need. Together, we are improving food security while equipping participants with the education and resources needed to build healthier, more independent, and self-sufficient lives.
We are also grateful to every family who participated today. Thank you for allowing DFOWW Incorporated to serve you and for joining us as we continue building healthier families and stronger communities.

đź’ś ANOTHER BLESSING FOR OUR COMMUNITY! đź’ś
DFOWW Incorporated is grateful to have received an additional Thursday evening donation from our valued community partner, Publix.
A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Lauren for helping make this generous donation possible. Your kindness and commitment to serving our community will help strengthen families throughout Georgia.
This wonderful donation included baby diapers, Pull-Ups, baby wipes, household hygiene products, laundry sanitizer, fresh bakery items, bread, and other essential supplies. These are necessities that many low-income households struggle to afford, and they will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve.
At DFOWW Incorporated, donated products are not simply given away through an open public distribution model. Instead, they are strategically used to strengthen our mission by supporting participants enrolled in our Write-Right Nutrition Program and by assisting trusted community partners who actively collaborate with us to improve the health and well-being of families across our communities.
Our nonprofit believes that lasting change occurs when nutrition education, financial sustainability, and community partnerships work together.
Program Support Contributions, workshop participation, volunteer service, and collaborative partnerships help offset the significant costs of recovering, transporting, storing, and distributing donated products. This sustainable model allows our all-volunteer organization to continue serving families long into the future.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Lauren and the entire Publix team for investing in our mission. Partnerships like yours help transform donated products into opportunities for education, healthier families, and stronger communities.
