Sometimes it’s the silliest gifts that bring the most pleasure.

Today in things that make me happy: morning walks around my garden.

This guy! Clifford is a rescue and we have been fostering him for a couple of weeks now. He is absolutely enthralled with other dogs and loves to play and wrestle. He is also surprisingly independent and can totally amuse himself with a toy when they get tired of his shenanigans. He is also doing great on the leash which is a relief since we have a houseful this week while we are dog sitting. And he’s not aggressive or protective of his food or toys. He responds well to reprimands. He’s still skittish around men but Jeff is doing his best to develop trust with this big ‘ole lug and he’s coming along…slowly but surely.

I am loading dishwasher and turn around to see this. This sweet girl has her priorities straight.
