Black History Month is a time to honor the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black communities—including the legacy of Black Wall Street and Black financial institutions.

Black Wall Street in Tulsa and Black-owned banks across the U.S. once fueled Black economic power. But after desegregation, wealth drained from our communities, weakening these institutions.

On April 3, 1968, Dr. King urged us to invest in Black banks to build financial strength. Today, only 25 Black-owned banks remain—down from over 100. This , we reflect on our history and commit to rebuilding Black wealth. Economic empowerment is key to our future.

💰 Millennials & ‘Phantom Wealth’—The Reality Behind Rising Net Worth 💰

Millennials have seen their wealth quadruple in just three years, largely due to rising home values and a strong job market. 📈🏡 But despite a collective net worth of $15.95 trillion, many don’t feel wealthy.

Why? Much of this wealth is illiquid—tied up in homes and retirement accounts, not accessible for day-to-day expenses. 💸

With inflation, student loans, and high living costs, many Millennials fall into the HENRY category—High Earners, Not Rich Yet. 🔄
