Recently our postdoctoral fellow Hilary Miller-Goldwater presented her research at the Cognitive Development Society Meeting. She presented her work identifying how young children's science books can help them learn science information even before they enter Kindergarten! She found that books that included more details, examples, and comparisons, as well as included questions, helped the preschool-aged children learn more science information.
