It can be a bummer to not have a summer stock contract. A plus is that auditions are usually less crowded, but then there's fewer auditions! So how should we spend our time?

It is definitely good to take time for yourself! And the summer weather allows for so many activities - it could do you some good to not be shut in a dark theater and instead go hiking, read a book outside, and enjoy nature!

Summer is also a great time to work on your craft and update your materials! We can focus on building your book, taking voice lessons, dance lessons, acting coaching, etc, when we aren't swamped with auditions, and it is a perfect time to do it before fall auditions start up for holiday work.

That feeling when you're working on a new song... 😅
I'm messing up, but I'm still having fun! I love working on new material (even if it takes a few tries to get it right 😝 )
