It´s true, in most areas of life black girls and black women are built by family and society to believe they can only show love through acts of continuous service, we are taught to put everyone first, and we come second, and when we become mothers this only turns into a bigger reality, unavoidable.🥵😓

Consequently, self-love becomes a vanity, a second time act, we think we gain value by our service and overwhelming work we’re taking care of everyone so, yeah, we forget, we don´t remember to take care of ourselves too.🌈⛈

In our minds we accept the value we are granted by society… but guess what, society messes up most of the time!💫☺️

So what if they think you don´t have the value? You tell them you DO! You matter, and a LOT!🧐
