The moment I realized this, how I handled every client that came through my door changed. Often times I use to confuse being really nice with great customer service. Wrong. It’s important to remember that clients initially come to you for your expertise. The value that you can add to their lives. Prioritizing your professional relationship with them is literally what they are paying you for! Of course they want to talk about the break up, the kids, or their next vacation. You can get to that later. In conversation at the beginning of my appointments I always handle business first. I ask questions like - “so how did you like this set of lashes”, “how are you getting use to your new brows”, or “did you have any questions about your lashes, they look great on you”. Since this topic is brought up first it lets the client know where YOUR priorities are. Control the conversation this way as a start to setting great boundaries with your clientele.

My quick visit was so meaningful, because I’m so happy and thankful for the wonderful friendships and connections I’ve made this year especially with my Canadian loves. I know this year has been hard (to put it simply). I encourage us all to walk with faith, not with fear into 2021.
