​Quitting is easy. Building a legacy hurts.

​Everybody loves the idea of building something from nothing, but nobody talks about the heavy cost of the journey. They don’t tell you about the price of entrepreneurship. They don’t mention the brutal Atlanta heat or the freezing mornings that numb your hands before the first job of the day even starts. They don't mention the hundreds of miles walked, the hundreds of thousands of pounds lifted, or the moments where your shirt is so heavy with sweat you can literally wring it out like a towel.

​Nobody posts the days they want to quit. They don't show the 14-hour days, the dead-weight lifts, or the quiet moments where your body is screaming at you to just put it down and walk away.

​But I pay that price every single day.
​I make the sacrifices—the missed events, the sore muscles, the bumps, and the bruises—because there is a different kind of peace that comes with freedom. Not just financial freedom, but the freedom that comes with having no one standing over your shoulder.

​The greatest privilege I’ve ever known is getting to work alongside my kids, teaching them how to be go-getters, showing them how to build their own table rather than asking for a seat at someone else’s. Quitting was never an option because this is so much bigger than me. I wake up every morning exhausted, I wake up sore, but I wake up EXCITED.

​That is passion. Freedom comes with a brutal price tag, but for the life I’m building and the legacy I’m leaving for my children, I would pay it ten times over. 💜
