I've loved this song since the first time I heard it. It always fascinates me how songs can continue to evolve to have new meaning relevant to where you are in life.

I've been singing this song since I was a kid. Well before I understood what I was singing and I continued to do so without really grasping it until I was in my late twenties. Some things just aren't meant to be.

Yep, your boy has been slacking. To say I've been procrastinating on the cover front is an understatement. In my defense, September was a whirlwind. I left a company I'd been with for almost a decade and started with a much smaller enterprise which has afforded me a lot of flexibility. Flexibility like finally saying goodbye to Tally and making the move back to ATL (Yes, you read that correctly). September was bittersweet. The end of an era in a lot of different ways and, hopefully, the beginning of some great ones.

Is that an excuse? No.
Am I going to use it an excuse? Absolutely.

This one has been a long time coming. I hope you enjoy it.
