Today our Sweet S.T.E.A.M. scholars discovered that making the perfect s’more is more than a delicious treat, it’s a science experiment!

As we toasted marshmallows and built our s’mores, we explored physical and chemical changes like real scientists.

🧪 We discovered:
✨ Chocolate melts and marshmallows become gooey (physical changes).
🔥 Toasted marshmallows turn golden brown through caramelization, creating new flavors and aromas (chemical changes).

Along the way, scholars practiced observing, predicting, measuring, problem-solving, and teamwork.
