POCO LOCO IS WYLD! Wyld Bird ATL serves Miami style charcoal cooked chicken out of Home Grow Reynoldstown. Their chicken is marinated with citrus and spices, dry brined, cooked skin on over charcoal and finished with a roast. It is also delicious!
For this week’s Poco Loco lunch special, their Miami style chicken meets Poco Loco pulled pork for our Wyld Bird Cubano!

“Some people like to collect cars, we like to race them!” Our dear Eggs are over 10 years old and have been used almost daily. They are cleaned constantly, but the patina of our hustle and bustle sure shined through.... until this week! The good folks from brought their handiest crew and completely tricked out our eggs from top to bottom!!! We are stoked for National Cookout Day tomorrow and we will have some BGE swag to hand out to the first guests that show up. Come one, come all! AND THANK YOU BIG GREEN EGG FOR HELPING US LOOK SO GOOD!

If Staplehouse and Poco Loco had a baby, what would it look like? A burrito with the snazziest sausage you have ever tasted of course! Chef Ryan, Chef Nick and Chef Alex have come together to make one of the tastiest breakfast burritos in the galaxy. I ate one myself this morning and it is life changing. To be honest I wish I had another to eat. But enough about me, here is what you can expect for ONE WEEK only at Poco Loco courtesy of our dear friends at Staplehouse.
“THE CHUPACABRA” BREAKFAST BURRITO
Staplehouse Chicken Sausage, Rajas y Tomatoes con Crema, homefries, 5N Farm eggs and quesadilla cheese. All in our house made flour tortilla served with our weekly salsa.
The origin story of this Staplehouse Sausage:
“It eats like an Italian sausage, very fatty and juicy from grinding the skins, dark meat only. It has Calabrian, parm, garlic, thyme, fennel seed, and a tiny bit of coriander. I’ve been pairing it with asparagus on a pizza with a triple cream cow cheese. It’s fire with eggs, I make myself a scramble every now and then.”
- Chef Ryan, Staplehouse
Our musings:
“Since its founding, Staplehouse has existed as a place of love and a place to nourish people, either through their food or their many acts of service, and that rings even louder today than it did in 2015. This sausage is the creation of Chef Ryan Westlake and is a shining example of his mindful and flavor-packed approach to feeding folks, the same approach that Staplehouse was founded upon.”
-Chef Nick

Hello gang! We have a route for you any of you traveling from the east tomorrow. Our lovely city is doing some very important road work and to help you find your way to some breakfast burritos, keep reading to follow the yellow brick road to Poco of Oz!
Poco Loco alternate route due to temporary road closure:
If you are coming from Decatur or Oakhurst take East Lake Dr north and turn right onto Park Place NE. It will bring you right to the back side entrance. Park anywhere (legally!) and we will be waiting with burritos and provisions!
Pro tip: you can also type in our address on Google and Apple Maps and they should reroute you accordingly! Blame the tech lords if they give you any route troubles.
