Continuing on the Next In Fashion train, we’re stopping at my absolute FAVORITE designer on the first season, Charles Lu!!! I really felt like he was ROBBED because his garment construction TOP TIER. Look how CLEAN these lines are. THE DETAIL. Charles really inspired me to be PATIENT and to genuinely work on my craft. I remember he mentioned something his mother said to him about patience. “You get more done when you’re patient.” Something so small, but now I think about it every time I hit that sewing machine.

I hope my technical skills and attention to detail is as half as good as his one day. 😬
