Drawdown Georgia
Drawdown Georgia is a statewide, research-based initiative building a just, sustainable future.
Climate action is about the next generation. As a parent, John Lanier, Executive Director at , says that exploring the data ‘becomes personal’. These maps show us that the decisions we make in Georgia today are the legacy we leave for our kids tomorrow.
While many climate models look toward the year 2100, our new Climate Outlook Maps focus on 2050 because that is the world today’s youth will inherit as adults. By looking at the localized projections for heat, rainfall, and growing seasons, we can see exactly how the decisions we make now will shape the Georgia our kids call home in the future.
