During Black History Month, we are proud to recognize the impactful contributions of Black and African American leaders who continue to drive Student Quarters forward.

Today, we celebrate Kiya Demps, a Full-Time Leasing Consultant at , who has been a valued member of the Student Quarters team for nearly a year.

Kiya played an integral role in Derby Row Apartments earning a nomination for Community of the Year (350 Beds or More), demonstrating dedication, teamwork, and a strong commitment to excellence.

A recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minors in Pan-African Studies and Diversity & Equity, Kiya has also been accepted into the Master’s Program in Pan-African Studies at the University of Louisville. In addition to her academic achievements, she was honored with the Outstanding Airman of the Year Award through the Air National Guard. Kiya’s drive, and commitment to service embody the excellence and impact we celebrate during Black History Month.
