Our founder, Antonio “AJ” Benton, has passed at the age of 41.

AJ was more than the founder of Black Hawk Touring. He was a leader and a true road warrior who dedicated his life to the touring industry and the artists he served. From learning the business early on under his mentor Dre Davis, to launching Black Hawk Touring in 2023, AJ built this company on passion, integrity, hard work and an unwavering commitment to creating seamless touring experiences.

Those who knew AJ, knew his heart, his relentless work ethic and his ability to bring people together on and off the road. He believed touring was about more than logistics…it was about creating unforgettable experiences for artists, crews, and fans alike.

While this loss is deeply felt, AJ’s vision will not end here.

We will continue to move forward, carrying the torch he lit and honoring his legacy by continuing the mission of Black Hawk Touring, supporting artists, building unforgettable tours, and upholding the standard of excellence he set.

AJ built something special. And we will continue to build on that foundation in his name.
