Have you ever felt a sharp, shooting pain, or a stubborn numbness that just won't go away? You might be dealing with a pinched nerve.
"Pinched nerve" is actually an umbrella term for several different types of nerve root disorders, known clinically as radiculopathy. Depending on where the nerve compression happens along your spine, it can impact entirely different parts of your body:
💥 Lumbar Radiculopathy: Located in your lower back. This is the most common spot for a pinched nerve to develop because your lower back bears the majority of your body weight and daily physical stress.
⚡ Cervical Radiculopathy: Located near your neck. This type causes nerve pain, tingling, or numbness to travel outward, radiating down your arms, upper back, chest, or shoulders. It is often linked to herniated discs or arthritis.
🩺 Thoracic Radiculopathy: Located in the middle section of your spine. This is the least common type of compressed nerve root, but it directly affects your mid-back area.
🦵 Sciatica: A specific form of lumbar radiculopathy. It occurs when pain radiates downward from the lower back through the thighs and legs, causing painful throbbing, stiffness, and tenderness in your limbs.
If you are tired of living with the stiffness and discomfort of nerve compression, it's time to take action. Let us help you find relief and get your spinal health back on track!
