OK, Here's the great news: Around five of the participants in the MAVPP will be presenting highlights of their violence prevention work at the Daniel H. Blumenthal Public Health Summit at the Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) on April 1-2, 2014! This is going to be THE violence prevention event of the year!

The partners will discuss their youth violence prevention activities, working with the criminal justice system, and vocational aspects of violence prevention.

A representative from the King Center will present key aspects of their nonviolence initiatives locally, nationally, and internationally. The King Center remains very active and relevant in the 21st Century nonviolence movement.

The Youth Ensemble of Atlanta (YEA) will perform a gun violence prevention theatrical piece at 8:30 a.m. on day two of the Summit. This performance will knock your socks off and underscore the seriousness of the contemporary challenges of evidence-based violence prevention.

Arlen "Griff" Griffin, Professional Comedian, will officiate the event as master of ceremony for both days. On day one at a summit reception at 5:00 p.m. sharp, the rumor is that a spoken word artist from New Orleans will make an "Amazing" gun violence prevention performance!!! Guess who the artist is!!! Let's see if this rumor holds any water.

TRUST ME! This public health violence prevention summit on April 1-2, 2014, at the MSM is an international caliber event that you will never be able to forget decades from now! Congratulations to the staff and faculty at MSM for their exceptional hard work and high quality commitment in putting this outstanding summit together!

I bet you cannot tell the difference between the draft & final versions! There are two obvious ones and a subtle difference that only a videographer would pick up!

If you support nonviolence, like and share this video. Best wishes!
