This summer, Shayna Peele, C'2028, is participating in the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) at Rutgers University–Newark School of Nursing, where she is building a strong foundation for a career in healthcare. Through hands-on clinical experiences, simulation-based learning, and coursework in Introduction to Pharmacology and Anatomy & Physiology, Shayna is expanding her knowledge while preparing for her future as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Our incoming 12th President, Dr. Ayanna Howard, shares her inspiring journey, from pioneering advancements in artificial intelligence and engineering to leading one of the nation's premier institutions for women of African descent.
