Your sewing scissors are for what? Sewing!! Not for cutting paper (including patterns) or cutting other random things. Cutting things other than fabric can dull the blade and the result? Your fabric cuts are not accurate!
Bonus: write sewing on those scissors with a marker and then you know which pair to use!
