This coffee comes from Heights Coffee Estate, Karatu region, not far from the city of Arusha. Most of the coffee planted at Heights Estate is called "N39", an older Bourbon type. This fully washed coffee shares a lot of flavor characteristics with some of the more balanced Guatemalan coffees. It was grown in the Karatu region of Tanzania between 1600-1800 meters above sea level. This coffee has wonderful qualities such as hefty cocoa and creamy nut flavors, with raw sugar notes.
