Loving The Nations

You can't develop the ability to absorb a hit by only reading about punches. Boxers train in contact, because that's the only place the skill actually forms.

James put it plainly:

"Consider it pure joy... whenever you face trials of many kinds, because the testing of your faith produces enduarance. Let enduarance finish its work" - (James 1:2-4)

That word "let" matters. enduarance has to be allowed to finish. It's not just something that happens to you, it's something you cooperate with.

Every hit you're currently taking is not a detour away from your growth. It is the growth, the opportunity to transform from within!

Some seasons don't send one hit. They send a barrage, wave after wave, with barely a breath between them.

Job didn't get one punch. He got a whole round of them, back to back, with no bell to save him. His wealth, gone. His children, gone. His health, gone. And still, from the ashes, he said:

"Though he slay me, yet I will hope in him" (Job 13:15).

That is not the voice of a man who felt nothing, it's the voice of a man who felt everything and chose to keep standing anyway.

Here's the promise underneath it all: what looked like Job's ending was never his ending. His story closes with restoration greater than what he lost, because that's how God finishes a fight for those who don't let go of Him.

If that's you right now, you are not failing the fight. You are in it, and the win is still coming.
