Harnessing over twenty-two years of experience in communications, banking and finance, and education, Archie L. Bouie II is a widely respected executive, entrepreneur, mentor and family man. He currently serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Patrick Cook Group, a performance enhancement firm dedicated to helping organizations facilitate change. Bouie also serves as the Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration at Florida A&M University.

Known as the Common Cents Educator for his passion for fiscal prudence and commitment to education, Archie meshes character and charisma with insight and integrity, yielding a career to be marveled and admired by clients and colleagues alike. He is a rare talent possessing years of leadership in the areas of fiscal affairs, human resources, fundraising, faculty & staff development, curriculum research & development, enrollment & retention, student & academic affairs, facility management, leadership training and more. To date, former positions include, but are not limited to: Executive Officer of the Fairburn and Stone Mountain campuses of Georgia Military College, Chief Operations Officer for the InterAmerican Campus of Miami-Dade College, the largest public institution of higher learning in the United States, with 8 campuses and over 165,000 students, the Associate Vice President of Auxiliary & Student Services at Florida Memorial University, one of Florida’s four Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s), the Vice President/Head of Community & Institutional Banking for Hancock Bank and Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Sprint PCS.

Driven by his unapologetic commitment to raise the bar, Bouie has broken down barriers and dominated territories never imagined by his predecessors. He has repeatedly become the first African-American senior-level executive at multiple organizations, including Georgia Military College, Hancock Bank and Sprint PCS. His unrelenting pursuit for excellence has been recognized on numerous occasions, most recently as he was named the 2015-2016 Educator of the Year by The South Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and 2015 Atlanta Business League Man of Distinction Honoree and in past years as Hancock Bank’s Market Growth Leader of the Year in 2008, one of Jacksonville’s Top 40 under 40 in 2006 and the recipient of Sprint PCS’s Customer Service Star Award in 2004.

Archie holistically believes that education is the pathway to success. He’s completed all coursework for his Doctoral Degree with a concentration in Organizational Leadership & Development from Grand Canyon University, holds a Master’s Degree, with a concentration in Leadership of Educational Organizations from American Intercontinental University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. He is a Certified Executive Banker from The Graduate Banking School of the South at LSU, a Certified Auxiliary Services Professional, a former Certified Financial Planner and holder of Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Archie has also completed the Higher Education Executive Leadership Program at Hampton University and the Professional Fundraising Program at Boston University.
