June 4th has always been a meaningful date in our family.
It’s the anniversary of my Aunt Sue’s death. She was just 28 years old when she died from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I was named in her memory. 💗

Years later, June 4th became the day I started chemotherapy for the same cancer.

If there’s one thing my mom and I have learned, it’s that life’s hardest chapters often become the ones that shape us most.

What began as a mom helping her daughter through cancer treatment eventually became Susansnaps—a business built on sharing comfort, encouragement, and a little sweetness with others.

Today, we’re remembering Aunt Sue with gratitude and reflecting on the ways difficult seasons can grow into something beautiful.

Aunt Sue’s legacy was one of quiet courage, grace, and a smile. We hope to carry that forward in all we do. 💗

One of the messages Mom and I have shared for years is the power of a smile.

A simple smile can brighten a day, lift a spirit, and remind us that even in difficult moments, we can choose how we respond. There is something powerful about choosing to smile when you just don’t feel like it. Sometimes that simple act reminds us we’re stronger than we think.
