A woman feels safe and respected when a man protects her dignity; even when she isn’t present.
That means speaking up when other men are disrespectful. It means refusing to laugh along, stay silent, or tolerate dishonor.
Real respect isn’t performative. It shows up in the rooms where women aren’t present.
Character is revealed in what you tolerate and what you confront.

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up…”
- Ephesians 4:29 (NIV)

When conversations about opportunity for women happen, some men immediately ask, “What about space for men?” That question assumes there isn’t room for both.
But the real issue isn’t fairness, it’s equity. Fairness can be subjective. Equity asks a clearer question:
Are women being paid and treated at the same level as men for the same work?
Healthy workplaces don’t compete over opportunity. They make sure opportunity and compensation match the role, not assumptions about gender.

“The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.” Proverbs 11:1 (NIV)
