URGENTLY SEEKING AN AREA GENERAL MANAGER in Fairfield, NJ FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE!!!

A global leader in the Facilities Services industry is seeking an *AREA GENERAL MANAGER in our Fairfield, NJ branch. The AREA GENERAL MANAGER is a key stakeholder within our team, ensuring customer satisfaction, leading company guidelines and processes, and ultimately company profitability.
Basic Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years Management experience
• 5 years Basic Functional experience
• Distribution and Vending experience working in the Vending arena

Position Summary:
Functions as the in-unit leader for multiple accounts and/or contracts within a defined geography. Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of a multi-site.
• Work closely with the Distribution Manager, Warehouse, and Service in daily operations and holding departments and staff accountable.
• Ensure all branch departments work as one team.
• Identify customer issues quickly, and promptly respond with appropriate communication and/or corrective action with operations and Key Account Managers
• Coordinate ex*****on of field pricing changes and other strategic projects
• Coordinate new account ex*****on and assist with client management & retention.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve all business processes, efficiencies, and best practices.
• Champion a safety-focused work environment for all operations.
• Carrie out all leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Who You Are:
• Has 5 years of combined management experience required with a very strong preference for the distribution industry and the vending industry.
• Has a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Is an effective communicator and collaborator with passion for developing talent through coaching and accountability.
• Can demonstrate urgency and problem-solving skills with a dedication to customer service and associate accountability.
• Has the ability to learn and work with database inventory management software, route scheduling software, and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Has the ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. and is able to perform work in outside weather conditions.

Key Duties
• Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.
• Develops business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals.
• Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and company.
• Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership - assists in contract negotiations for the system.
• Maintains Quality & Company Standards – reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
• Provides strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
