These conversations are an opportunity to come together, ask questions, share ideas, and learn more about how we can support every child from cradle to career. When families and communities partner together, we build brighter futures for our kids and create stronger pathways to success.

This year, South Atlanta Youth Group was fortunate to have two incredible interns who poured deeply into this work and into the students they served.

Ajani Claxton-Warner, a graduate of Emory University, was described by one student as “an awesome person and an even better friend.”

Jasmine Flowers, a graduate of Georgia State University, was called “like a big sister” by one of our students for the care and encouragement she showed throughout the year.

Through their work with FCS, both made a lasting impact on the community, and we’re excited for what’s ahead for them!

Today, we honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

As we spend time with loved ones and our communities this Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude for the sacrifice, courage, and legacy of those who served.

Last summer, camp was filled with moments of joy, growth, friendship, and discovery for students across South Atlanta. From trying new activities to building confidence and meaningful connections, these experiences created memories that will last far beyond the season.
