On Behalf of the Adjutant General of Georgia:
The holiday season is upon us! As families gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to express my sense of gratitude and appreciation to the entire Georgia Department of Defense team for all that you do on behalf of the citizens of our state and nation. Whether you serve in uniform, support the mission as a family member, civilian employee or volunteer, it is your service and commitment that allows Americans to enjoy the blessings of Thanksgiving. While many of us will have extra time with our families over the next few days, we never forget those who are currently deployed away from their families to guarantee our way of life. The Georgia National Guard has men and women deployed around the world this Thanksgiving. Please keep them and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
