Did you know that Toronto is a super-highway for migrating birds?! Millions of birds make their way through the city each spring and fall. The majority will be in town soon - end of April/early May is the expected arrival time frame.

Until then, enjoy these man-made feathered friends - one of which doubles as a home for real birds!

I take care of all the research, planning, and time that goes into designing a great vacation. Contact me to custom-design your next trip.

Spa time alongside elephants! After an exciting week on safari, my body needed a break. Cue this amazing thermal spa on the banks of the Ruaha River!

I started with a dip in the natural hot spring pool, followed by time in a massage bath. Brought to the bush from France, this amazing whirlpool bath is fitted with 240 massage jets that combine spring water and air to create a relaxing soak like no other.

A fantastic massage capped off the afternoon. I listened to elephants splash in the water while I enjoyed it.

The Laba Bush Thermal Spa is a scenic 35-minute drive from its home property, Laba Jongomero. Nestled on a riverbank deep in the forest, this secluded lodge features lovely accommodations, great food, and a knowledgeable guide for your time on safari.

Baobabs, also known as the "Trees of Life," are amazing to witness! They reach heights of over 100 feet (with circumferences to match!) and have lifespans of up to 3000 years. These unique trees are native to only a few areas in sub-Saharan Africa, Madagascar, and Australia.

Landscapes filled with baobabs are among my most cherished memories of Africa. I have connections with top local guides and safari operators. contact me to create a safari trip that will provide you with memories to last a lifetime!
