Gateway Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda VanDalen, LCSW, to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

For the past 13 years, Amanda has been an integral part of Gateway Center’s leadership team, serving most recently as our Director of Coordinated Entry and Continuous Quality Improvement. Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing coordinated entry, quality improvement, compliance, performance management, and operational excellence. She has also been instrumental in strengthening our partnerships across the community, leading our successful CARF accreditation efforts, implementing data-driven quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring that our services remain grounded in Housing First and trauma-informed best practices.

The creation of the COO position represents an important milestone in Gateway Center’s evolution. As our organization continues to grow in both scale and complexity, this role will provide the operational leadership necessary to support our expanding programs, strengthen organizational performance, and ensure we remain responsive to the changing needs of our community.
