☀️ Summer fun is still going strong, but so is the learning! At Ga Tech Atlanta's Center for Education Integrating Science Math and Computing (CEISMC) camp, creativity and curiosity came together as students explored big ideas through the arts.

ArtsNOW Staff and Teacher Leaders guided campers through a week-long Creature Creation Lab, where students stepped into the role of designers, engineers, and storytellers as they tackled a STEAM adventure focused on climate change & animal adaptations.

Using the Engineering Design Process, campers:

📋 Designed original creatures that reflected unique strengths & innovative solutions to a climate problem.

🪚 Brought their ideas to life with Makedo tools, cardboard, and other creative materials.

💡 Developed original stories that explored how their creatures move, live, and contribute to their imagined worlds.

Collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking were alive every step of the way. The week concluded with a family showcase where campers proudly shared their creations and celebrated everything they had learned. Thanks to all who joined us for this incredible week!
