's residential program prioritizes safety, continuity, and long term healing — before, during, and after residency.

The NBA has told the Atlanta Hawks they cannot move forward with their planned "Magic City Monday" partnership — and we're grateful.

BELOVED was proud to join a coalition of Atlanta's anti-sex trafficking organizations in signing an open letter to the Hawks urging them to reverse this decision. We wrote: "We are not asking Hawks fans to stop supporting their team. We love this team. We are asking the Atlanta Hawks organization to love this city, all of it, including its most vulnerable residents, in return."

That message was heard.

This is what advocacy looks like — communities speaking up, survivors being seen, and institutions being held accountable. And while we celebrate this step, we know the work doesn't stop here. Women and girls are still being exploited in our city every day.

We will keep showing up.

Today we pause to honor the strength, dignity, and beauty of women, especially those who are fighting battles the world doesn’t always see. The woman rebuilding her life. The mother holding everything together. The one who is just beginning to believe she deserves better.

Our mission has always been rooted in this truth: women are worthy of love, safety, and a community that shows up for them, not because of what they’ve accomplished, but simply because of who they are.

On this International Women’s Day, we recommit to that.

To walking alongside women in our community, to advocating for their dignity, and to building a place where every woman knows she is BeLoved.
