As a web developer, most believe the reason I do what I do is because I like to look at computer screens. I can do that, but my true "why" is to help small businesses succeed. When determining yours, think about the bigger picture and what motivates you to do your work.

My mother got me into the family business very early and I witnessed and felt her struggles as a business owner. That experience made me want to find a way to make the journey of a small business owner easier. By learning how to manage their online presense and helping them plan for future success, I'm helping them to stay in business and support them with the quality of life they want. What's your why?

Find your labor of love

Starting your business really is a labor of love. You'll be spending countless hours in building it so you have to enjoy what you do.

Apart from my role as a Project Manager, I started dabbling in web development. After 7 years, I noticed it had a profound impact on me, to the point that I wanted to build them for others.

Whether or not Only59 is profitable is beside the point, because I'm doing something that I love!

While having a strong digital and social media presence is crucial to your business’ success, printed mediums in the form of posters and business cards are still highly effective. It also makes sense financially. A poster in a high-traffic area can get you hundreds of views a week, or even a day, depending on the type of space you’re able to secure, and the only investment you need is the cost for a strong template, which you should easily get with a reputable web designer working on your website, and the pocket change it would cost to print up the posters, in comparison to what it would cost to place an ad in the paper, magazines, or a major website with high PR.
