One of the hardest lessons of my life has been overcoming who I’ve programmed myself to be. I am familiar with anger and doubt and fear so it’s easy to slip into that state. Choosing to be present and strengthen my willpower has proven to be far more difficult. However, it's important to remember the conditioning we have received from our past experiences and environment does not have to dictate our present and future. We have the power to create a new reality for ourselves. And, truly, I’d much rather endure the work it takes to be happier than be stuck in a cycle of misery. So as you start this week, I hope you find time to reprogram your thoughts and show yourself you are worth the effort and you have the power to change your life.
