When the work on yourself starts to have staying power❣ I have been on a wellness journey with my weight over these past few years. The fact that I can share these pics unbothered is a sign of my strength in self.

Never could accept that I had some kind of beauty to share, not many others have helped to encourage that thought. I began to believe that people called me beautiful only in the meaning of spirit, never physically appealing. Today I embrace my whole body as I learn to accept all of me. And my beauty is not defined by what others think or suggest.

Recently a guy said to me you can get in on workouts too, as to state that I needed to. He didn't ask about my fitness history or current weight goals, routine just assumed that I should be uncomfortable with myself and according to him I need to change. So I asked, are you saying there is something wrong with me as current? There is nothing more that I can offer to you other than being in physical shape?
Any other time I would have explained myself, my struggle. I immediately stood up for myself. If you can't accept the way my body is, you can't accept me 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Can we all do better yes. How dare people tell people what is considered beautiful and appealing. Thah, I'm outside wit it today yall just like this! thank you sis for helping to bring the girls out our shells 🐚 💓
